The purpose of the Members Involved in Leadership and Engagement (MILE) Program is to create a network of engaged TRIO professionals while gaining knowledge of Indiana TRIO, Educational Opportunity Association (EOA), and Council for Opportunity in Education (COE).
Further purposes include understanding and engaging in the importance of state and federal advocacy and to critically think about enhancing the quality of the Indiana TRIO Chapter of EOA.

Participants typically include the following:
Are interested in learning more about TRIO history and associations;
Are newer professionals;
Are seasoned professionals who want to be more involved;
Have had minimal involvement in the chapter;
Are interested in expanding their leadership skills, networking, and building community.
